The Service We Provide

The site explains where Boone County and Iowa arrest, jail, custody and court resources may be found. It can also connect a visitor with outside research tools. It keeps no official record, cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond or file a request or court document for anyone.

Acceptable Use

Use the service in a lawful way that respects other people and the site's operation.

No Consumer Reports or FCRA Use

Boone County Recent Arrests is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It supplies no background check, credit report or consumer report, and neither it nor its advertising partners provides a screening service. You agree not to use information from this site for:

• Hiring, firing or any other employment decision;
• Tenant selection or another housing decision;
• Creditworthiness, lending or insurance pricing;
• A license, permit or government-program eligibility decision; or
• Any other purpose governed by the FCRA.

Websites Operated by Others

Links may lead to jail rosters, booking pages, sheriff or corrections sites, government portals, legal resources and commercial search services. A link does not mean we endorse or control the destination. We are not responsible for its content, uptime, prices or data practices. Review that site's current terms before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise accuracy, completeness or currency; continuous availability; freedom from bugs or security flaws; or complete results from a partner tool. Jail custody, court dockets and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement by the Boone County Sheriff or another public agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site, its owners and its contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or other damages arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content or use of a linked service.
